"I am a descendant of Ngāti Awa, Tūhoe. I grew up in the shade of the hills of "Ngā Taumata" below my Tūhoetanga. He attends schools in Tāneatua and Whakatāne. I am here studying my Ngātiawatanga. One of my ambitions is to support the planting of educational seeds for the Māori children of Ngāti Awa so that they can easily learn.
